Draft & itemization are given far too much weight compared to gameplay. They’re very important but so overblown these days.
People harp on bad item purchases or perceived draft failures as the reason teams lose in FAR more games than is relevant.

みんな、敗北の原因をドラフトやアイテムが悪かったからだとこだわっている。実際のプレイよりもね。
To be clear I find both itemization & draft super interesting and fun to discuss. They have a significant affect on the game.
I’m just tired of seeing peoples takeaway from games be “WOW they lost cause they picked Jax” & not how Jax played & how the team played around it.

俺はみんながゲーム内容から離れ「ワオ、こいつらジャックスをピックしたから負けたぞ」と言うのに疲れてしまった。選手やチーム全体がどのようにジャックスを運用したかではなくてね。
It should & will be discussed, but IMO it currently feels like itemization / draft is just overshadowing all other discussion because it’s easy to grab onto a simple statement on x or y being bad & more difficult to discuss gameplay.

Meme’s aside I agree with his point. Too many people only use this one whip over and over without application of context. Draft losses are almost NEVER solely the reason for a loss. Items as well, my main gripe with them is how easy they are to fix and we dont see it. Drafts hard

This is fact. Listen, this team didn’t lose the game because someone built tabis this game. They lost because they wasted tempo and missed all their skill shots. Bananas play better.

No one is saying drafts don’t matter – they’re super important. My point is simply that in 95% of cases draft is blamed it feels like without looking at context of the game / gameplay even when draft may have been fine or even winning.

I completely agree with Itemization, i think in some cases you definitely can get more use out of certain items but alot of the time its blown out of proportion. Draft on the otherhand i feel like can instantly win/lose u the game and the advantages from draft are massive.

While I agree with your point, I think there is a big difference between draft/itemization, draft has become relevant to the point many games have a clear gap from the start, still overblown sometimes.
